All doors to be manufactured by The-Wood Studio Thailand. Doors to be solid teakwood, no veneers. Stiles and rails to be mortise and tenon construction and glued with exterior Type-1 waterproof glue. All panels to be end-sealed before assembly. Edge glued door members to be v-grooved and permanently bonded with waterproof exterior Type-1-glue. Molding around all lites and panels on doors specified as such by The-Wood Studio. |

On customer's request we will issue a free Lifetime Certificate of Authenticity. The-Wood Studio certifies that every door we design and make is by order only. This is an original and authentic product. It is genuine and the only one made by The-Wood Studio. It is not a replica, a rebuild or repair; it has been newly built by skilled artisan. No two doors are identical, thus making each one of a kind. Only authentic hand carving is performed, no routers or machine tools of any type are used.

Teakwood grade “A” (Tectona Grandis Linn)
Each door has a Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Chain of Custody (CoC) certificate to guarantee the source was a sustainable plantation.
We keep all our wood in the oven for two (2) weeks to a moisture content of 10-12% followed by one (1) week of ‘resting’ to reabsorb moisture in the air to ~14%. The moisture level is being measured by electronic instruments.

All panels are end sealed with under coat paint before the door is assembled to minimize shrinking and swelling.

Machine sanded with super fine No. 220 grit paper followed by detailed hand sanding. No machine or cross grain sand marks. Ready for finish.
Only authentic hand carving is performed, no routers or machine tools of any type are used. Carving on both sides of all residential doors and on one side of garage and glass doors. Over 4,000 carving styles available for doors frames casing and lintels.
Standard Door Colors. Please note that The-Wood Studio premier hardwoods vary in color and grain texture (natural variations), which can affect the actual finish color of the wood. Variances in photography and printing may also cause finish colors shown in this catalog to vary from actual finish. |
Specials are welcome. We make doors and frames to customer's design in any height, width or thickness that is structurally and aesthetically feasible. All you need to provide is a picture or a drawing and we take care of the rest. RED CARPET SERVICE

Every door together with wood crating, pallet and all Non-Manufactured Wood Packing Material (NMWP) to be fumigated with Methyl Bromide [CH3Br] and are free from wood termites. Formal Certificate of Fumigation is provided according to wood import regulations of European Union, United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
Each door is individually poly bagged and boxed with 300# psi doubled wall cardboard and placed in wooden crate.
Cost estimate is for one 80 X 200 cm size pre-hung residential door
All items are shipped to the major city near you. For example if you live in Colorado Springs, Colorado we will ship your goods to Denver. It is much less expensive when you pick up the shipment yourself at the "State Docks" in Denver. However we can arrange for delivery directly to your home, but this service may be costly.

IMPORTANT! Due to war on terror and after 9/11 US Customs check random containers for presence of explosives. They may hold incoming shipment at the main US entry port from 1-2 weeks for inspection.
It may apply to some large orders of 10 doors or above. The-Wood® Studio consultancy and design fee is $3,000.00 USD per project. The fee is payable in advance and it's FULLY CREDITED against client's purchase order.
